Lower Blood Pressure In Middle Age to Reduce Cardiovascular Risks

A new study found that middle age people can actually reduce their “lifetime risk” (LTR) of cardiovascular disease simply by lowering their blood pressure. Conversely an increase in blood pressure at middle age is likely to increase their risk of cardiovascular disease.

It is important that men and women recognize that they can still significantly impact their long-term health, even after they turn 40. This study encourages this group to focus on a lifestyle (healthy diet and regular exercise) that will promote lower blood pressure and subsequently improve and extend their quality of life.
This confirms the old adage that “it’s never too late to start,” particularly when if comes to your health.
