Obesity Quadruples Knee Arthritis Risk

Does this really come as a surprise.  If you subject a joint (the knee) to constant stress it will warp (develop osteoarthritis).  In the body, this is called “Wolff’s Law”
A new study found that “obesity is a risk factor for many conditions, including knee OA (osteoarthritis).” According to the study, being overweight doubles a person’s risk of knee osteoarthritis and being obese quadruples it.
