1) Trump said the right words but lied about the issues:
a) There should be no fraud in elections but it was only him doing the fraud and illegal activities during the last election. Our many stopgaps for elections fraud have never faltered nor have they been breached no matter how many times he stated that they were overrun with fraud – which all turned out to be him and his cronies.
b) Every vote should be counted but that must be honored no matter the outcome. No matter if the outcome is not of your choosing or what reflects your desired result. Demanding that states count votes multiple times only to get the same outcome (PA and GA) is too much to ask of any state election committee.
c) The president must make his administration clean, clear, and transparent. As the expression goes, “lay down with dogs and you will wake up with fleas” – Trump surrounded himself with criminals and heinous individuals of the lowest order, which included his own family (maybe I should be kinder about his kids since there is nothing you can do if you are married to a Kushner). Trump never seemed to get enough from associating with con artists like Steve Bannon and ignorant people such as pretty much everyone else in his cabinet.
d) Trump never seemed to remember his wife’s name, referring to her repeatedly as “Melanie”. It is MELANIA.
2) There are dumb people who have been first lady and I understand that Melania was from Slovania but “BE BEST”? What does that mean? What was it supposed to mean when put into action? Did anyone tell her that it isn’t English?
Hey, all you Republican weirdos – get out there and “Be Best”. Be sure to report back to us as to what that looks like. Bring back snacks and souvenirs in any case.
3) PRESDIENT BIDEN. Finally. I am so relieved to see those words. I could almost cry with relief (and I am not much of a crier). I feel like a person who has survived cancer or been released from prison. Yes, Trump was that bad – a cancer on the USA who kept us in prison.
4) Like everyone else I live in a world where the internet is an ever-present part of my life. Along with this constant connection to the online world is a sense of insecurity that pervades all of my actions giving me a sense of insecurity as to the criminal world that is just beyond the thin veneer of the websites I use and the places I visit.
The sources of our digital anxiety and insecurity:
FOMO, or the fear of missing out, refers to feeling regret over missing social situations, which can lead to believing that others’ lives are better and more interesting than yours.
The Goldfish effect describes the phenomenon of our attention spans getting shorter due to the information overload we experience daily.
The modern-day news cycle is never-ending. Every day we are overloaded with news stories, and it’s becoming increasingly harder to tell what’s real and what’s not.
In a world riddled with cybersecurity threats, enjoying the internet can be difficult. Staying secure, therefore, can become an anxiety-inducing experience.
