Short Time Between Births = Autism
New information is coming to light about the time spaced in between having children.“Children born after shorter intervals between pregnancies are at increased risk of developing autism; the highest risk was associated with pregnancies spaced <1 year apart,” according to a new study. The risk of autism for second born children born less than a year after the first born is 239% greater than those children born 36 months or more after the first child. The risk drops to 86% greater for those born 12 to 23 months later and 26% greater for those born 24 to 35 months later.
