Early Antibiotic Use = Increased Allergies & Asthma
With the use of antibiotics at an all time high, more research is making it clear that early use is not beneficial and can cause harmful health issues later in life. A recent study showed that children who received antibiotics by 6 months were between 59% and 89% likely to have asthma by age 6, depending on family history. These children were also 59% more likely to have a “positive allergy blood or skin test.”
