Beta Blockers = Obesity?

Beta blockers (also known as “β-blockers”) are a type of drug used for high blood pressure. Unfortunately, like all drugs, they come with side effects that may be worse than the ailment they are supposed to address. In this case, a new study found that “energy expenditure is reduced and body weight increased in chronic β-blocker users.”
