 Charlie Kirk was no martyr

Charlie Kirk was a prominent right-wing political activist and media personality known for his combative style, often promoting controversial views with a strong right-wing slant.

People are upset because he was killed. Death is sad, especially in someone young. I am certain that the killer will be found who killed Kirk because they felt that Kirk was ‘too woke’ and not conservative enough.  

Look at the facts: he was killed from a distance with a single-bolt rifle without a doubt by an expert in using the weapon.  This is not a liberal woke guy unfamiliar with weaponry – this was Charlie Kirk’s kind of guy: a gun-nut who came there to kill him!

He frequently disseminated misinformation and conspiracy theories, including false claims about voter fraud in the 2020 U.S. election, COVID-19 misinformation, and conspiracies like Cultural Marxism and the Great Replacement theory. Kirk openly criticized civil rights legislation, LGBTQ rights, and diversity initiatives, sparking widespread condemnation and accusations of racism and antisemitism. 

His rhetoric was marked by loose connections to facts and a combative, polarizing approach, often attacking liberal education, civil rights icons, and progressive social policies while aligning closely with Trump and Christian nationalist ideals.[1][2][3][4]

Ironically, he stated, “ I think it’s worth to have a cost of, unfortunately, some gun deaths every single year so that we can have the Second Amendment to protect our other God-given rights.”  I am so glad that he got to die the way he wanted – from an assassin exercising their right to use a gun in the way it was intended – to kill someone.

In summary, Charlie Kirk was combative, often incorrect or misleading, and deeply aligned with far-right populist and Christian nationalist causes, with a pattern of promoting falsehoods closely intertwined with his political activism and media presence.[2][1]
