Drinking = Benign Breast Disease in Teenage Women
Alcohol is not our friend – especially for young women who start too early!
What does drinking have to do with breast disease and teens? Teenage women who drink alcohol are 50% more likely to experience benign breast disease (BBD). This risk increases as the amount and frequency of drinking increases to as high as 5.5 times the risk for “(g)irls who typically drank 6 or 7 days/week.” A sobering thought.
