Trump and The Perpetual Scam

I am sure that no one is surprised that I do not like Trump.  I consider his every action to be fraudulent and the basis for another scam.

There is substantial, well-documented evidence that Donald Trump has engaged in repeated fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading practices across his business and political activities for decades157. Major court cases, such as the New York civil fraud trial, found that Trump and his company committed years of fraud by inflating asset values for financial gain, resulting in large financial penalties and bans on business activities in New York57. Other examples include the Trump University case, widely described as a scam involving illegal business practices38, and persistent patterns of false or misleading statements throughout his public life and presidency6910.

However, while I consider these patterns to be extensive and well-documented, it would be an overstatement to claim that all of Trump’s actions are scams. Nevertheless, the very image of a man constantly in the process of creating and perpetuating a scam is a poor image to present to the rest of the world (outside the United States). The evidence shows a consistent, repeated use of deception and fraud in many of his ventures, but not every action or decision he takes can be definitively classified as a scam based on current record.

It is certainly a mystery to have a man in the highest executive office in our government who make decisions based on his ‘gut’ without regard to current events, the rule of law, insight, educated advisors, or precedent.

What this country decided to do after the departure of Trump in 2020 was to put him back into office 4 years later.  This reflects on the US citizens and those that vote who made the decision to put a known felon and persistent lying scam artist into an office without regard to the poor visual it would bring to the United States.  We will be here long after he leaves office but the stain to our reputation and image will be hard to live down.
