Work-Life Conflicts Contribute to Back Pain

Groundbreaking research is looking at the relationship of work-life conflicts (WLC) and musculoskeletal disorder (MSD) such as back pain, neck pain, etc.
Work-life conflicts are defined as the conflicts that arise between people’s work demands and the other demands of their daily life. The most recent study found that “employees who were most exposed to such work-to-life conflict were also most at risk and showed a fivefold higher prevalence rate and also an up to sixfold increased relative risk of suffering greatly from these types of MSD.” People experiencing this type of stress on their musculoskeletal system should seek regular chiropractic care to maintain their health.
